Learn About Joy, Our Company’s President

Joy Hurtig is a real estate professional with 30 years of experience in commercial real estate and finance. Prior to joining the Centergy team, Joy founded and ran her own company, which financed properties throughout California and Hawaii. She has financed over $600,000,000 in loan transactions and her background in commercial leasing, marketing and finance which provides a comprehensive foundation for property evaluation and analysis.

Hurtig moved to the Bay area in 2004 where she worked with Grubb & Ellis in Oakland and Blatteis Realty Co.Inc. in San Francisco. Prior to moving to the Bay Area she resided in Los Angeles and worked with Beitler Commercial Realty Services and LA Realty, the leasing arm of Pacific Financial Group in Beverly Hills. Joy has successfully represented both landlords and tenants in retail and office projects ranging from single tenant buildings to 1,000,000 square foot retail / office projects including the ABC Entertainment Center in Century City, 9000 Sunset in West Hollywood, and Westwood Medical.

Joy has a BS in Business from the University of Southern California, and received her Brokers License in 1987.
